Dialog, krig, terror och fenomenologi
Är du bekant med Hans Köchler? Hans är en filosof som är inspirerad av Husserl och expert på Heidegger. Han är inriktad på juridik, demokrati och internationella relationer och arbetar också praktiskt med detta. Han är en i praktiken mycket aktiv och inflytelserik expert för FN och andra internationella organisationer som har mött alla sorters världsledare i flera decenniers tid. Som filosof har han försökt utveckla en hermeneutisk metod för olika kulturer att kunna föra en dialog med varandra, dialogue of civilizations, vilken bl.a innefattar cultural self-comprehension.
Han har grundat och leder IPO, International Progress Organisation, som i samarbete med FN arbetar för förståelse och fred mellan nationer och kulturer. Hans har publicerat mer än 350 verk, diskuterat fenomenologi med förre påven Johannes Paulus II, kritiserat juridisk positivism, och har organiserat flera större internationella kongresser om demokrati, mänskliga rättigheter och konfliktlösning. Han har också fått en mängd medaljer och hedersbetygelser.

"... the "citizens of the world" should resist the One World ideology of the propagators of a new order in which, for the first time in history, there are virtually no limits to the pursuit of economic interests. What is urgently needed in a forcefully globalized world is not the removal of all restrictions to economic activity but a globalization of moral awareness in regard to the basic rights of each individual and each nation, and of the obligations resulting from the mutual recognition of those rights. The peoples of the world, in clear distinction from their governments and from the ever more powerful international economic conglomerates and pressure groups, have to make clear that the advent of a global economy dominating all other aspects of life (including the political one), is not the "End of History," and that any such "metaphysical" assumptions are philosophically baseless."
